<p>For the past 7+ years, I have been a part of the teaching industry in my home country of Guyana in South America. During this time, I have had the unique opportunity to work with children from all walks of life and at almost every level - I have taught nursery to secondary aged students (3-15 years old). This has honestly given me a distinctive approach to teaching. I find that regardless of a child&#x27;s age - they need to be exposed to materials that they can connect with and materials that they find interesting. As a teacher, I model positive behaviour for my students and I like to find ways to motivate as well as encourage them. To date, I have completed a Degree in Communication Studies, I am currently working on attaining my Postgraduate Diploma in education along with my 120-Hours TEFL certification. I believe this shows my commitment not only to my job but to the students and ensuring that they are connected with someone who is knowledgeable and capable of assisting them in the learning process. </p>
