<p>I have been a classical musician, chemist, teacher, and educational leader in my professional life.  I studied English at the University of Chicago, music and chemistry at Indiana University, and I completed my MS in chemistry at New York University.  I worked in education in New York for 25 years, including as a science and math teacher, department chair, and Head of Upper School for a number of K-12 independent schools. I currently reside in Hyde Park, Chicago, and I look forward to my next role in STEM education.  My priority is to find a learning community where my skills and talents match the school’s culture of intellectual engagement and diverse inclusiveness.  I&#x27;m also thinking about, listening to, and acting on ideas regarding leadership, learning, and mentoring.</p>
