Description

This course is an introduction to programming, addressed to people without any prior exposure to programming. This course is appropriate for adults who feel intimidated by programming, and also to children. The course uses Scratch. Scratch is a very friendly visual programming environment, in which you will learn to make simple video games or stories by visually dragging blocks of code instead of writing them in a text environment. This makes it much less intimidating for beginners, and it will help you build enough confidence and get the basics so you can transition to more advanced programming languages easily.
